Animal Reasearch Sheet

Word Document for charting Animals

Power Point with Problem Scenario to solve

Procedure:
1. Students first meet in the computer lab to work on their Animal Research. Students are assigned an animal to become an expert on and work indivudually to complete their Reasearch sheet. While students are working, save a picture of their animal on a Word Document (format as square so that it can be moved later). This takes about an hour.

2. When research is completed, pose the problem (Power Point) and brainstorm ways to group the animals. Drag pictures into the correct column on the chart Word Document) and discuss safety of all animals; separte the animals if needed. (this touches on food chain) This takes approximately 30 minutes, working as a whole group.
