Procedure:
1. Divide students into 5 groups and assign each group a slide from the PowerPoint. 2. Each group should have their own laptop and a copy of the slideshow. 3. Go over the following directions: 3a. Read the sentences on the assigned slide with your group. 3b. As a group, decide what you think the word at the top of the slide means based on what you read. 3c. Come up with a definition for each word and type it in the box provided. 3d. Choose the picture on the slide that best shows what the word means. Drag and drop the picture in with your definition. 4. Have each group present their definition and picture. 5. As the groups present, the teacher should type on the slideshow that is projected on the screen. 6. Drag and drop the picture that the group selected. 7. As a class, discuss the definition and picture choice. Should we make changes? 8. Continue with the other groups. 9. Save the class PowerPoint.
