Procedure:
1. Separate students into 7 groups (one for each tribe). *This can be done before the lesson...I had them randomly pick one* 2. Brainstorm as a group for 2 to 3 minutes "stereotypes" of Texas Indians. Tell students they are going to be experts on their tribe and teach the other tribes about their tribe. 3. Have students work together in groups to fill out the information on their tribe. (I assigned roles, speaker, writer, time keeper, etc.) They will have about 20 to 25 minutes to fill out information. (I set a timer and give a countdown at 5 minutes) 4. Have tribes come up, one by one. Have the one speaker tell about their tribe so that the others can fill in their information on the chart. 5. If time at the end, have students compare/contrast the tribes and sum-up
