Materials:
paper, pencils, computer, big chart or poster paper

Resources:
Fairytale stories, Fractured Fairytale stories

Procedure:
Introduction: Introduce lesson by discussing some famous Fairytales. Read a Fairytale aloud to the class. Read a "Fractured Fairytale" of that same story to the class.

Discussion: Have a discussion with the class about the differences between the two fairytales. On big chart paper, record the differences between the real fairytale and the fractured fairytale.

Activity: Pair students up and explain that each pair will create their own fractured fairytale. After they have written their roughdraft, they will then use PowerPoint to create their stories into an actual storybook on the computer.

Conclusion: Ater several class sessions on writing and creating fractured fairytales through their roughdrafts and then onto the computer, students will present their stories to the class.
