All of the student in attendance will have read most of her Lone Star 2007-2008 award winning novel "The Warrior Heir" during their Reading class prior to her presentation. We hope to have a spirited discussion of how the writing process worked for her in the creation of this work. |

Five of the 2007 Bluebonnet titles will be highlighted in physical, mental, and fun challenges. |

Steffanie Nellis | Author Cinda Williams Chima to Visit Jackson Library! ( Mon. May. 19) Jackson students will extend a Texas-sized welcome to author Cinda Williams Chima on May 19th. Ms. Williams Chima is author of the "Warrior Heir" trilogy of fantasy novels. Her first book, "The Warrior Heir", is a current title on the Texas Lonestar Reading List and immensely popular with many students. We look forward to visiting with this talented author as she shares her experiences of the writing process with students. |
