El Dorado offers both one way and two way immersion/dual language programs. The one way bilingual program is available for students that are identified as Limited English Proficient (LEP) in grades K-5. Our two way immersion/ dual language programs class make up is 50% Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and 50% native English speakers (Non LEP). Currently we offer the two way immersion/dual language program in Kinder and 1st grade. The goal of both programs is to empower and develop bilingual, bi-literate students.
