David Lee "Tex" Hill Middle School will be opening its doors for the first group of students in August 2014. Part of the Johnson High School cluster, the campus is located north of 1604 on Bulverde Road. Tex Hill Middle School includes 214,711 square feet and is designed to be built according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver rating standards. The school colors are Royal Blue, Cardinal Red, and Carolina Blue and the school mascot is a tiger. David Lee "Tex" Hill served with a group of aviators known as the "Flying Tigers" during WWII and received great praise for their heroic actions. Tex Hill Middle School looks forward to designing a legacy of success by building academic excellence, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens.
