The Electrical Systems Technology Program is designed for students in ninth through 12th grade who are interested in the electrical industry. The program has been established as an Apprenticeship Program in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. EST’s mission is to teach students a marketable skill or trade that will provide opportunities for employment security. Students will have an opportunity to earn apprenticeship hours while they are in high school. Whether students plan to be an electrical engineer, fiber optic specialist, electrician or any one of many occupations in the electrical industry, the program has a course of study that addresses their needs.
