At the Design and Technology Academy, the mission is to graduate students who will be independent thinkers and learners who work creatively and confidently as community members to design solutions for tomorrow.

The program stresses creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and technology through projects in design fields such as mechanical engineering, Web page design, video game design, programming languages, architecture, fashion design, graphic arts, animation, and digital rendering and modeling.
